I'm a debatable gentleman and endurance sport activist living in Los Angeles. Here, we'll talk about the second of those two things...

Keep Shining K Swiss, Keep Shining…
These are both an epic PASS. I decided to really put the Kwicky Blade Light to the test this morning after a long swim - took it straight out of the box, no socks, for 15 miles. It’s not something I would usually recommend, but my feet came away pretty much unscathed. One brush on my left heel, but I think that’s more about being on my first long run since the 26.2 I did on October 8th. That’s insane to me, and exciting, seeing as I’d about given up on going sockless in running shoes. They also feel like running in velvet slippers. Have I mentioned this? Crazy comfortable. But the footing is very stable. For me, they’re going to be perfect training shoes. You could race in them, but I won’t because…
I like the K-Ruuz 1.5 even better. It’s the lightest, most breathable shoe I’ve ever run in. Basically, I can see my feet through the mesh of the shoes. As much as I sweat, I can’t see these taking on any more weight. There’s just no room for it anywhere. These are FAST MILE shoes. These are TEAR out of transition for 13.1 shoes. Or 6. Or 3. Maybe 26?
I did not expect to be so impressed. K Swiss is making serious moves here. Or maybe I’m just late to the game…
